Join Lansing Bike Co-Op for a fun and casually paced group ride in the lovely lunar light! We will be riding through Mt. Hope Cemetery and then through the MSU campus where we will end up at the MSU Observatory. Though the moon should be plenty bright, front and rear lights as well as helmets are strongly encouraged. The starting point will be at the Co-Op, 1715 E. Kalamazoo.
Come one, come all to join us in a celebration of bikes, grilling things, and creating! Planned events include a group ride, hot dog (meat and veggie/vegan) cook-out, bike-focused art creation, and general camaraderie! We will also discuss how to become a member of the co-op, how to be a self-sufficient bike mechanic, and the direction the co-op is planning in the coming year. All levels of experience welcome!
Come by the Co-op Saturday to meet fellow volunteers and bike enthusiasts, learn about this valuable community resource, and get the shop spiffy clean for our Spring Kick-Off Party the following day. We'll be unveiling a new membership structure at the Kick-Off, so come log some volunteer hours for the coming year!
